The Carwari Organic White Miso Paste has an aromatic scent and a mellow mild taste. It is made using a traditional method via natural fermentation which produces unpasteurised fresh live miso. Live miso contains active enzymes that aids digestion and it also helps tenderise meat or fish, and it brings out the elusive ‘Umami’ flavour. Due to its shorter fermentation process, the soybeans are peeled beforehand to make sure the bitterness of soybeans is removed. The Carwari White Miso contains more ‘Rice Koji’ which supports the creation of the sweetness as well. The product is suitable for vegetarian and vegan, contains no additives, no GMOs and is gluten free.
