The Carwari Organic Red Miso Paste has a richer flavor profile with a deeper taste. It is made using a traditional method via natural fermentation which produces unpasteurised fresh live miso. Live miso contains active enzymes that aids digestion and it also helps the tenderisation of meat or fish, and brings out the elusive ‘Umami’ flavour. During the longer fermentation process, more melanoidin is produced in the red miso which in turn provides more antioxidants. The product is suitable for vegetarian and vegan. It contains no additives, no GMOs and is gluten free.
This product is best for (but not limited to) soups, dressing, dipping sauces, sauces, hot pots.
